A leisurely 20- to 25-minute walk will take you to popular sites, making it a perfect base for sightseeing.

The hotel’s location is particularly convenient for travelers arriving from the airport, which is approximately a 25- to 30-minute drive away. Taxis and Ubers are readily available, costing around $25 to $35, or you can opt for the Dublin Express bus for about $11, making transportation both accessible and affordable.

For those considering a stay, Hyatt Centric The Liberties Dublin is now categorized as a Category 5 property, requiring between 17,000 and 23,000 World of Hyatt points per night. If you’re not using points, cash rates start at around $173 per night, making it a reasonable option for travelers on a budget. During my stay, I had the opportunity to experience several room types, each offering a comfortable and stylish environment. The standard king room, measuring 258 to 279 square feet, comfortably accommodates two guests and features a desk and separate seating area, which is a pleasant surprise for a standard European hotel room. For families, the king family deluxe room can accommodate two adults and one child, with the option to connect to a twin room.

We also enjoyed a couple of nights in a king suite, which, while not a traditional suite with a door separating the living area from the bedroom, provided a functional layout for our needs. Although we didn’t have the chance to enjoy the bar on this trip, we did dine at the restaurant several times.

The menu features a variety of options, including smoked salmon and eggs on sourdough, as well as a hearty pancake stack that delighted my kids. The restaurant also serves dinner, with kid-friendly options such as fish and chips and grilled chicken, making it convenient for families.

While the food was generally enjoyable and the staff friendly, the service could be described as somewhat perfunctory, with little follow-up after meals were served. However, the convenience of having dining options on-site made it easy to refuel after a day of exploring.

For those with accessibility needs, the hotel does offer a limited number of accessible room types, though my searches indicated that none were available for booking with points. It’s advisable to check directly with the hotel for the most current availability.

Overall, my family and I had a delightful stay at Hyatt Centric The Liberties Dublin, and I would not hesitate to return in the future. The combination of reasonable points redemption, modern accommodations, and a great breakfast perk makes it an attractive choice for travelers.
