United Airlines Unveils New Lounge at Denver International Airport

United Airlines has recently opened a newly renovated lounge at Denver International Airport (DEN), marking it as the airline’s second hub to receive a complete lounge overhaul. The B West United Club, situated near Gate B32, officially opens its doors to travelers, enhancing the airport experience for United passengers.

This latest addition comes on the heels of significant improvements made to the B East United Club and the introduction of a brand-new lounge in the A Concourse, both of which were completed in 2023. Additionally, United’s first Club Fly debuted in DEN in 2022. As DEN continues to grow as United’s fastest-expanding hub, the airline recognized the need to revitalize the B West facility, ensuring it meets the demands of modern travelers.

With the opening of the B West United Club, DEN now boasts four United lounge locations, all either newly constructed or recently renovated. Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) is the only other hub with a similar lounge upgrade. Collectively, United now offers over 100,000 square feet of lounge space in Denver, accommodating nearly 1,600 guests, with plans for a Polaris lounge set to open in the near future.

The lounge features over 600 seats distributed across more than 33,000 square feet, making it one of the largest in United’s network. Ascending to Level 4, guests will discover additional seating and another buffet area, which includes a unique dining space featuring the largest high-top table available in any United Club, seating up to 14 people. A central relaxation area with another faux fireplace offers a tranquil escape from the airport’s hustle and bustle.

The lounge’s second bar area, located on the upper level, boasts a more refined atmosphere, with wood ceiling treatments and a warm color palette, enhancing the overall cozy lodge vibe. While the design elements align with other United lounges in DEN, the B West location offers a more upscale feel.

Food options in the lounge remain consistent with United’s offerings across its clubs. Expect a selection of sandwiches, salads, soups, and other basics. While the catering may not rival the gourmet options found in Delta Air Lines’ Sky Clubs, United provides sufficient choices to satisfy travelers.

For beverages, two beverage stations offer a variety of nonalcoholic options, including coffee and soft drinks, while both bars serve cocktails and wines. However, only house selections are complimentary; premium options come at an additional cost.

Though the B West United Club does not feature amenities like phone booths or showers—often found in more exclusive lounges—the space does include a game room with a shuffleboard table, providing some entertainment for guests. The lounge also offers restrooms, wellness rooms with baby-changing facilities, and all-gender restrooms.
